The North Carolina State University Libraries, recognized as the first

Libraries invites applications and nominations for the following position:
DIGITAL REPOSITORY LIBRARIAN
The Digital Repository Librarian explores, adapts, and implements
emerging digital repository technologies in support of the library’s
digital collections and publishing initiatives. The incumbent manages
repository development projects, researches and recommends enhancements,
and works with other library staff to develop and implement metadata and
preservation standards. She or he maintains an awareness of emerging
repository technologies and applications; serves on library-wide and
regional committees, task forces, and teams; and represents the
Libraries at regional and national meetings, consortia, and
associations. Librarians at NC State are expected to be active
professionally and to contribute to developments in the field.
