[Publib] quiet place and other strange ideas about libraries

When people find out I work at a library they will remark
1."Wow it is quiet and you get to read all day".
2. My purple velvet sneakers shocked patrons. The sneakers were very
comfortable. I was supposed to wear "old lady shoes".
3. Computers can answer every question typed into it, just like on TV.
4. I have read every book, or watched every movie and can give excellent
review. This would include a count of all the cuss words.
5. I know what book everyone has checked out in the lifetime.
6. I will also know who someone is when I hear shouted across the parking
lot "LIBRARY LADY PLEASE RENEW BY BOOKS"!!!!
7. Library workers are babysitters.
