[Publib] Weeding methods for floating collections

Hello,

I'm heading up a newly formed weeding methods team at Johnson County Library, where we've recently begun floating our entire collection, and would like to know how other libraries that float part or all of their collections go about weeding. Our previous fixed-collection weeding methods have centered around "dusty-book" lists but we don't think those will be appropriate in a situation where materials can land anywhere. We're looking at weeding to a standard based on system-wide shelf capacity (treating the collection as a single entity), but are interested in other approaches being used to weed floating collections.

Your assistance is appreciated, many thanks,

Peter
