[Publib] Florida Librarians Fight Back Against LSSI

That may so, however IMHO, a state- funded grant can be limited by the State
- in this case Florida - as it sees will benefit public institutions. IMHO,
I cannot see how a foreign for-profit company should be able to force/limit
any state from applying any rules for grant aid that the State sees fit just
because it does not fill the needs of a private company' s future ambitions.
Simply, the "co-mingling" of the administrative operations of a public
institution (the public library) with a for-profit, private company in terns
of - not mere contractual services - but full administrative powers, begs
the question, when does public become private?
This could have ramifications for more than just libraries in the long-run,
IMHO. My concern is the limitation of the state to control it's own funding
and agencies.
I'm wondering if anyone else sees this problem w/ LSSI's suit?
