I use Picnik for editing photos and especially for removing redeye, and so does anyone who edits their photos from within Flickr. I cheerfully recommend Picnik to anyone who is looking for a cheap, easy-to-use alternative to Photoshop.

If your patrons are using Picnik to edit photos, a good alternative is Paint.net, which is free but which has to be installed on each computer, and your IT folks probably won't like that, either.
