Have any of you noticed a decline in the number of Pre-pubs you're receiving? We used to get a box of about 15-20 titles every month (we circulate roughly 10,000 items a month). However, our most recent delivery was only about 8 titles. I use these copies as a buying tool and often buy a large percentage of the titles for our collection.
Has anyone else noticed this? Are publishers cutting back? Is it a reflection of our frozen budget and the reduction in book buying we suffered through last fiscal year? Any thoughts?
