[Publib] Question about Photo sharing sites

I have had patrons request that our Internet filter not block: www.picnik.com, www.lunapic.com, and www.tinypic.com
 
Our IT department will not unblock these sites because they say, these sites will allow our patrons to view adult content. Has anyone had any experience with these sites? They seemed like regular old photo sharing sites like photobucket. Are these different? Any expert opinion would help!
