[Publib] RE: Circulation on multiple floors

We have 3 floors at our main library - holdover from being a Carnegie
library.  We have cash registers on each floor.  Since we are a city
department, they have a computer program that is hooked up to the city.
What's funny is that when we were told we had to have this hook up, the
city said that each person who handled the cash register had to have
their own cash drawer assigned.  Our director just laughed.  We have at
any one time two clerks at each desk, and possibly 3 on main floor.  So,
we got a pass on that.  Hope this helps.
