This is not about public libraries, but PubLib was my first home on
the Net and I've been hanging out here since 1993, so you are the
people I know to ask questions of.

I have acquired a part-time job in the community college library.
Yaay. I've worked in public libraries and in special libraries, but
academia is new to me. In the old days I'd have hunted down email
lists to join-- and they may still be relevant; after all, you guys
are still here, right?

But these days I get most of my randomized professional input by
following librarians and techies on Twitter, then wandering off to
the links they provide. Their blogs. What they're reading. Mostly my
tweeps are public librarians.

Please can you recommend some community-college-librarian tweeps, or
community-college-librarian blogs, or email lists, or... if you know
anything about this corner of librarianship, please let me have your
suggestions.

Still volunteering at the Lower Elwha Klallam Tribal Library, but
it's going to be fewer hours because I. have. an. actual. job.

Yaay,

for now. But if I'm continuing to have a professional life, I'm going
to get a domain name. As soon as I figure out what it should be.
