The Downers Grove Public Library has a plan with several contingencies depending how serious the local outbreak is. It is summarized on our web site here: http://www.downersgrovelibrary.org/programs_events/news/H1N1_info.php Publibers may enjoy the provision that allows staff to keep their distance from patrons who appear to be exhibiting flu symptoms.

The Board did grant all employees 3 extra paid sick days for flu season. This applies to all employees, including part-time staff who do receive other paid leave. These days are intended to encourage staff with flu symptoms to stay home. The flu days do not accumulate and unused days will are gone when the library declares that the flu season is over.

We are working on plan in case of a large outbreak here. I have a few
questions and wondered if anyone else had come up with answers
