[Publib] Book launch party ideas?

We are hosting a book launch party for a new picture book published by one
of our patrons.  The book is [

]Supersister, by Beth Cadena, illustrated by Frank Dormer, published by
Clarion this month.  Beth is planning on reading the book, and involving
kids in a couple of crafts related to the book; our Foundation is selling
copies of the book, and Beth will sign them.  

I am looking for ideas for making the event festive and party-like, and
would appreciate any suggestions or ideas from similar events you might
have hosted.   I also highly recommend Beth's book--it is a very sweet and
unusual expectant sibling story!  We are very excited and proud, as Beth
is a long time patron and this is her first book.
