[Publib] "Green" issue: Publishers mailing lists

Dear Colleagues:

 

Although I've tried in the past, I cannot seem to get my contact
information removed from several publisher, vendor & supplier mailing
lists.

 

Any suggestions on how I can get myself off these lists?  

 

I've tried calling & faxing.  When I send emails, I end up on those
lists.  I feel bad tossing out so many flyers & catalogs each week.
Such a waste of paper, even if it is recycled paper.

 

Just trying to be green....
