[Publib] nicer name

Somewhere or other I've heard these referred to as 'Roses & thorns'
sessions.

Roses = what went well.   Thorns=what didn't.

Because it's for the Friends of the Library, who've just had a smashing
annual book sale, their best ever. They're over the moon. I don't want
to spoil the euphoria with a negative sounding meeting title. Someone
e-mailed me, I can't remember if it went to the list or just to me, and
one of her suggestions was "Reflections."

I like that. It sounds so peaceful. (Also, sounds like a Helen Steiner
Rice poem, but that's another subject!)

I'm going to suggest it to our Friends, who have never had a "post
mortem" meeting after a "do."

I think many of the terms used for these kinds of meetings have gotten
the connotation of "talking about what went wrong and figuring out how
to avoid making those mistakes again next time" and I want to avoid that
at all cost.

I didn't want to tell everyone on Publib that it was for the Friends
because I didn't want to skew the results. Thank you all for the input.

P.S. "After the action," Sara??? The acronym is AAR! Just add a few more
"R's" and you'd have AAAARRRRRR! Or add a "g" and an "h" and both of
them might bring up images of NC's Blackbeard the Pirate. Maybe suitable
for the counties in the eastern part of the state, but not here.

Believe the military terminology is "after action report". But why not
just use pedestrian 'ole "follow up" ??
