[Publib] Esther Averill was NYPL Staffer

As a child one of the few books I vividly remember is The Fire Cat.

The book was already 10 years old when I was born. I have no idea where it came from. My parents rarely bought us books since they were expensive. We used the library mostly. But I remember that red cover and the yellow cat.

Thanks for the memories.

Jenny Linsky! My husband bought me a used copy of "The Cat Club" for my
birthday one year. Even my 3 year-old son likes Jenny & her
firefighting friend Pickles.
