Greetings Judy,

Not my voice - voice to text with lots of phonetic manipulation. I am not
sure how to give it a slight southern accent.

Libb or Libe ? I am using 'Libe' right now. The abbreviation and joining
of Public Libraries or Public Librarians seems to be the basis of PubLib.
However, I know that the words 'library' and 'librarian' have different
pronunciations in different locals.

In Rhode Island, many pronounce library as 'lie-beh-wee'
Or, if they recognize that it has two Rs they say 'lie-bweh-wee'
So, librarians become 'lie-beh-ee-anns' or 'lie-bweh-wee-anns'

However, all of the permutations of pronunciation do seem to begin with a
'lie'. I have never known a library without one.

If, in fact, the Lib in PubLib stands for Liberty, Liberation, or Liberal -
I think there is cause for Libb. If it stands for Libations, then we are
back to Libe again.

Maybe we should take a vote because I've always pronounce it Pub-libb, too,
and refer to members of the group, pub-libbers.

OTOH, I'm happy to note thatI've been saying Robert's last name correctly.

And, Robert, the avatar is adorable. Is that your voice on the video?
