There have been many great points made in response to my "don't point"
remark. I agree with the 3 finger comment. At my last library, staff would
sweep their arms in cases where pointing was necessary- as when directing
patrons to the reference desk.

My comment should have been better stated- don't point the majority of the
time. :-) In my new facility, pointing is the norm. I believe it should be
the exception.

I've enjoyed the discussion on this and the other 50 things mentioned. Keep
them coming!
