Last summer, we had two library staffers, both named Jennifer, that had just received their MLS degrees. We all went out to dinner, and afterwards, brought out a cake. The cake-decorator person had written "Jennifer's Graduation!" (or something similar) on the cake, per the instructions of whoever it was that ordered it. We all looked at the top of the cake, and someone remarked "That should be 'Jennifers' plural, not 'Jennifer's' possessive." The husband of one of the Jennifers said "I do believe that this is the only group that would even have noticed that."
