Hello all,

Has anyone done a crossword/sudoku puzzle challenge at their library? We are organizing a program and I am trying to come up with some basic rules/logistical considerations for such an event. Another nearby library has provided us with some great details about how they have run the event in the past: i.e. one age group/division, both sudoku and crossword puzzles used - contestants seated every other seat, people raise their sheet in the air when they finish their puzzle, finish times tracked by volunteers/staff, penalties for wrong letters/numbers, etc...

Does anyone else have some guidelines for a similar type of event that they would be willing to share? I just want to see if there are any other methods of doing this that may be worth considering.

We have a couple of patrons that are already very excited for the event. Any suggestions or information that you can share with me would be greatly appreciated!

Take care,

Mat
