Contact the Military. I once called the Navy recruiter and they brought me a
few mouse pads, pencils, pens, etc. I then called the Marines and left a
voice mail telling them what the Navy did. I got a phone call from the
Marines wanting to know again what the Navy did and promptly said THE
MARINES CAN AND WILL DO BETTER THAN THE NAVY. and he did. :)

Does anyone know where to get some freebies?
specifically, mouse pads?
ours are either missing or ugly and torn beyond belief.
There is no funding at all.
