We inter-file all the YA fiction by author. NF is in a separate area as is manga and graphic novels.

Fiction is in it's own area, sorted by author. Non-fiction is split, either in the juvenile or the adult collection. We just don't have enough space right now for a ya nf but my teen librarian would like the option.

Do any libraries out there shelve their YA fiction and nonfiction in some fashion other than interfiling w/the adult collection or by dewey? Do you shelve by the series title? Do you shelve by some sort of sub-genre like vampires or horror?
I just started a new job and have been inside two branches and Each of them shelve the YA differently. I came from a system that was strictly dewey....
