[Publib] Casual Friday @ your library

We allow jeans and summer reading T-shirts on Fridays, Saturdays and
Sundays during summer reading.

We also allow jeans on those days during the rest of the year IF the
person is wearing a library shirt (several styles available, all with an
embroidered logo).

The only down side I can think of is that occasionally (maybe once a
year) we have to remind people that jeans are ONLY allowed under those
circumstances. I'd say go for it.

Hi all,

For part of our summer reading program, we are advocating that staff be
allowed to wear jeans on Fridays with programming t-shirts. Do other
libraries out there do anything like this? Staff is excited about the
possibililty, but have any of you experienced any negatives? THanks for
your input!
