[Publib] Mother's Day- are you open?

We are closed on Mother's Day. The argument I made to request this day to be closed was that we're not open on Sundays in the summer which means we're closed on Father's Day. It only seemed fair. I suppose someday when we're open Sundays year round, we will have to reconsider.

If you are normally open on a Sunday, are you still open on Mother's Day?  Our library has always been closed in the past but this year they decided to stay open. Needless to say, it caused a ruckus with the Sunday staff, all of whom are mothers or have mothers.  I wanted to take an informal poll to see if we are the norm or the exception.
