Our fiction is by autor, our nonfiction by dewey. We have a separate section for YA that follows this format

Subject: [Publib] Shelving YA
Do any libraries out there shelve their YA fiction and nonfiction in some fashion other than interfiling w/the adult collection or by dewey? Do you shelve by the series title? Do you shelve by some sort of sub-genre like vampires or horror?
I just started a new job and have been inside two branches and Each of them shelve the YA differently. I came from a system that was strictly dewey....
