[Publib] Casual Friday @ your library

Yes, it's fine for them to wear jeans. Some of them dress a bit
suggestively, too, which has lead to a number of incidents with patrons
getting a little too "familiar" with them. I don't know what their dress
code is. Most of them are fine, but a couple show a little too much
skin.

Are your shelvers or pages, able to wear jeans at all ever?

We can wear our specially-made summer reading polo or denim shirts on
Fridays, but we can't ever wear jeans with them. We tend to wear less
dressy pants, the sort that's a cotton blend, with the shirts.

Hi all,

For part of our summer reading program, we are advocating that staff be
allowed to wear jeans on Fridays with programming t-shirts. Do other
libraries out there do anything like this? Staff is excited about the
possibililty, but have any of you experienced any negatives? THanks for
your input!
