Have public libraries closed in the areas where the schools have closed, due to H1N1 Influenza?

Last week I  read an AP news article that said Mexico had closed schools, museums, libraries, and theaters.

The following link from the CDC does not specifically name libraries, but it does mention "childcare-related gatherings".

I think most of us that work in libraries would consider ourselves a "childcare-related gathering" place.  I know I usually see more kids in the library on school snow days.  It may be too snowy to get to school but it's not too snowy to drive into town to come to the library.

Some years ago, I mentioned that our library, and also the local community center, should think about having policies in place stating the facilities would be closed if the schools were ever closed for health precautions.  At the time I was thinking of potential meningitis outbreaks not influenza.  I was laughed at.  I think my suggestion was viewed as a way for me to obtain some "free" vacation time.

Disclaimer - I am a non-MLS, with 11 years experience, running a small, busy branch library; and a retired RN, with 15 years experience, who does not give out health/medical advice.
