It is not yet time, but within a few weeks you should be ready to post your  
prediction for the final baseball standings for 2009.  The  winner gets to 
gloat, which is better than anything.  Please observe the  following format:
 
You must choose at least one Division to rank in order of finish; you may  
choose as many as six in both leagues.  You should also choose the league  
champion and world series winner.  
 
Participants should expect to be held up to ridicule and scorn if and when  
their choices turn out bad.  Winners should expect to be accused of simply  
being "lucky" or making obvious decisions based on past performance.  
 
If you really want to, make choices for most valuable player, batting  
champions, et cetera.  
 
In this way we will show the world that librarians and library workers know  
everything, or something like that.  If you don't know anything about  
baseball, then predict who will win the Kentucky Derby.  The odds are  better and you
