Keep in mind also when asking for RA assistance that some librarians and
many paraprofessionals have been told they're not allowed to do it and that
it is one person on staff's responsibility.  Granted, they should refer you
to that staff person, but that may not happen.

I'm aware of at least one library (not any of my POW or FPOW) where the
circulation staff gets formally reprimanded if they have the audacity to
suggest a book to a patron.
