[Publib] Adult Fiction Genre Sticker placement

At our library the fiction has spine labels with the author's last name -- the fiction counterpart to the call number label on nonfiction. Since the eye is drawn there (one place, for all books), it makes more sense to me to have the genre sticker toward the base of the spine.

Subject: [Publib] Adult Fiction Genre Sticker placement

We have all heard the phrase spoken by Realtors "location, location, location".
I think that can apply to Genre stickers on spine labels. Is there a definitive
answer to that question.
We are making some changes to our Adult Fiction spine labels. Well during the
discussion someone wonder if the location of our Genre Stickers are in the most
optimal location. The suggestion was that the upper portion of the spine is most
likely to catch the eye.
OK. Where are you all placing them???
