I haven't been directly involved recently, but I've had experience as a facilitator. I suggest you check with the school to make sure you can meet their guidelines based your library's policy. I also suggest that you have the student and the school take as much responsibility as possible for the session. I've had expectations from students and school reps. that were unacceptable to me and my library e.g. monitoring the student for two hours; providing materials for the student, etc.
Another issue is the time the student needs to be on the library's public access computers. Does the student need to be online during a certain time frame? Does your computer management software allow for special projects that gives patrons more computer time than normal?
