Friends, only get a pet if you can truly take care of it... at your home.
Pets are a lifetime (for the pet) commitment, and the responsibilities are
not to be taken lightly. Will that kitten still be cuddly when it spits
up a hairball? Are you willing to vacuum almost every day? We had a
stray library cat a few years ago. We kept it until we found a good home
for it.
I'm sorry if I step on anybody toes, but I get a little upset when people
get pets for any other reason than the fact they want a pet AND they have
the means and ability to take care of it.
Glenda, who has more stray cats dumped at or near the Pate farm than they
really care to have.
