[Publib] A Library Cat

I have to agree with Grace. I am an animal lover -- I own three pound dogs,
various amphibians, reptiles, birds, fish, the list goes on. But for some
reason, I am very allergic to cats. A neighboring library has a library cat
and the patrons love it, but I can not visit the library because of
allergies. You need to think of all your patrons.
Good luck -- I would love to do this at our library, but I am sure I am not
the only resident in town with allergies.

Please do not do this. I am horribly, dangerously allergic to
cats. I could never visit the library if it had a cat, and when it
got rid of the cat, it would be months before all the cat stuff
were gone. I am not alone in this allergy, and it is far more
common than you might think.
