- You worked for both  Soter and Philadelphus.

- Although criticized for your limited knowledge of Greek, you still were
able
to break down the Homeric poems into 24 books.

- Your old books (*bibliothekai)* are made of papyrus.

- Your  new books are charta pergamena.

- By royal decree, you have first dibs  on any books on ships
in your harbour.
