RA advice, please. A twenty- something woman asked for books that would
evoke the same emotional response in her as Eat, pray, love. Fiction or
non.  

 

As I never made it past the first 20 pages of Eat, and further
discussion provided no more information, I guessed that she wanted
something that would cause her to reflect. She found Sisters Antipodes
on her own. I suggested Picoult and Bojalian and Glass castle. I don't
know what she checked out, but I asked her to let me know if I hit the
mark.

 

What would you have offered?
