RoseMary Honnold has been doing teen services in Ohio for a long time, and she has her own website complete with program ideas.

On the bottom left of the screen is a link to “program activities” that gives you a link to tons of programs and how they were done.

Subject: [Publib] YA activity suggestions needed

Hi All,

I have been a largely silent group member. I do read all of your posts with interest. I just recently became a trainee librarian in my local library where I have worked as library aide for the past five years. I am working in all the departments, reference, YA, and children's. I have to do some YA programs and I confess I am at a loss for anything besides crafts and a book discussion.

I would love to find a site or book or whatever that has some good ideas for YA activities. I welcome any and all ideas.

Thank you so much in advance for your suggestions.

                                                     Monica Williams

Trainee Librarian at the Port Jefferson Free Library
