[Publib] CCTV Question

Unless the bathroom doors are visible to the circulation desk or some other
staff station, I'd suggest cameras showing the (outside of) the doors.
Otherwise they can be lurking spots. Perhaps some cameras furnishing a view
of the fire exits; combined with an alarm and a delayed opening you would
have some chance nabbing a shop, er, booklifter. Any cul de sacs in the
children's area could be a good place for cameras so that adults who have no
business without their offspring can't lurk.
Just my 2 cents worth..

Subject: [Publib] CCTV Question
Hi All,
We continue to plan for our new library, and our newest issue is regarding
the placement of security cameras. In your opinion what areas really need to
be covered? e.g. parking lot, reference, young adult. If you name an unusual
place please just add a note about why, in case we're not thinking of
everything. Thanks for any help you can send our way.
