Join Cathy De Rosa and Jenny Johnson from OCLC for an update on OCLC's continuing efforts-with generous support from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation-to help public library leaders heighten awareness of the needs of local libraries and increase support for the services they provide. Cathy and Jenny will introduce you to the community-based public awareness campaign "Geek the Library," which aims to highlight the vital role of public libraries and start a public conversation about the critical funding issues they face. The pilot campaign recently launched in central Iowa and greater Savannah, Ga.
