[Publib] Publib party at ALA

So far I have 12 people who say they are coming to the Publib party at
ALA Friday July 10.  I told the restaurant to reserve space for 20
people so we have a few to go.  This should be a great party and I know
there are more of you out there who REALLY WANT to attend.  There are
people from both coasts who say they are coming which I find neat.  
   However, several of the emails telling me that they are coming
express the concern that this might very well be their last ALA
conference in awhile due to budget cuts.  So we need to get together NOW
to meet and support each other.  (At this point imagine horns blowing
with fireworks and confetti)
   Please email me directly as some people appear to continue to have a
problem receiving PUBLIB postings.  I'm not sure how to let them know
about the party.  Please come and meet the rest of us.  Karen Schneider
has promised to be there even though she might be a little late.  She'll
catch up.
