VACANCY:  Manager of Collections Services (Search Extended)

Immediate full-time opening for skilled professional. Responsibilities 
include:
-       supervise 9-person technical services department;
-       manage consolidated ordering and cataloging of materials for member 
libraries;
-       promote use of regional e-resources collection;
-       provide training on technical services topics and use of e-resources

REQUIRED: ALA-MLS; significant experience in management and supervision; 
technical services and collection management skills; high degree of comfort 
with technology; outstanding communication skills. Target hiring salary: 
$50,000 (d.o.q.), with excellent fringe benefits

The Four County Library System, located in Vestal, NY, is a 42-member 
public library system. The rural, upstate Southern Tier area boasts a low 
cost of living, high quality health care, excellent educational systems and 
a laid-back way of life. Within 3 hours of NYC and Philadelphia; 5 hours of 
Washington, DC and Boston.
