Subject: [Publib] 24/7 Holds Pick Up at a Remote Location - AKA - librarybook
lockers
Greetings,
We serve a community of just over 8,000 and are interested in gathering
information about "24/7 Holds Pick Up at a Remote Location." We are thinking
about setting up a kiosk with "library book lockers" in a remote area of town
so that our users may pick up their books when the library is not open. If
you have a similar set up we would love to hear from you!
Specifically we are looking for:
1. Companies to contact
2. Your experiences with the service, both pro and con
3. Approximate cost
4. Demand for the service - how many boxes for a specific community size
and how many patrons served
5. Policies
6. Procedures
7. Willingness to speak with us via the telephone about your experience
You may contact us off the list if you wish.
We look forward to hearing from you!
