Dear Colleague,

I am writing an article for our system newsletter about adopt-a-magazine
programs.

Two libraries in our system have such programs.

This email to you is fishing for more ideas and measurements of adoption.

One library mails letters to people who already have adopted asking them
if they want to adopt again.
They put signs below each magazine identifying the adopter or a memorial
name.

A second library posts a list of magazines at the circulation desk.
"Adopted" is written in red after each adopted magazine.
A sign is also placed under each magazine.

If your library runs an adopt-a-magazine program, I have three questions:

Q #1. Does you do anything different?

Q #2. How many magazines do you have?

Q #3. How many are adopted?

Thanks,

Chris Rippel
