[Publib] Computer Classes: Multiple Email Accounts, One IP Address

Hello Fellow Publibbers:
This is my first time posting =)
I've been teaching beginning level computer classes here at the library
for about a year now and continue to struggle with one specific issue.
Every time I offer the introductory email class I have to revamp the
class because every free email provider I've tried has a similar
problem: multiple accounts cannot be created at the same time range from
the same IP address/IP range. I've had problems with Yahoo! email's
sign-up page timing out before students can finish signing up, and I've
tried a provider called GMX that limits the number of accounts within
about a 24-hour time period to 3-5. This time Gmail was suggested, and
when I did some research I see that there is a limit of about 10 within
a certain amount of time, though the amount of time isn't clear to me (1
hour? 24 hours? Indefinite?) Registrants are told that they will be
able to create their own account.
My director suggested I get in touch with other libraries that offer
this type of class to see what they do.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.
