[Publib] playaways and batteries

Hi,

We do not circulate the ear buds figuring who would want to use them
when they had been used in another person's ears. We sell them for $1
but most people just use their own. We do circulate them with
batteries. We do not change the batteries every time as the batteries
last longer than one use. However, we do check them out with a spare
battery and it works out well.

Subject: [Publib] playaways and batteries

Hello,

For the libraries that circulate Playaways, how do you handle batteries?

Do you provide rechargable batteries or do you rely on the customer's to
provide the batteries?

If you rely on your customers to replace the batteries are you willing
to share wording with me for PR purposes?

Thank you in advance for your help.
