To add to Kelly's statement, DC Councilman Marion Barry has been known
to not pay income tax and still owes.  He was in the "Washington Post"
not too long ago for it. Yes, the former mayor still gets his share of
attention for things outside of his position.

 

Last year everyone, regardless of time of service, had to go to
Metropolitan Police Headquarters for a criminal background check and
fingerprints were taken digitally (no inky fingers).
