It has always been obvious to those of us connected to libraries and now
we can point to a book revealing how exciting librarians really are. I
ran across a column commenting on a new book about Giaccomo Casanova.
The book is "Casanova: Actor Lover Priest Spy" by Ian Kelly. Read the
column here http://tinyurl.com/cnrws2.

The last 14 years of his life were spent as the librarian, at the Castle
of Dux in Bohemia, for a fellow cabalist, Count Josef Karl Emmanuel von
Waldstein. It was the only steady job he ever had, and he hated it. But
with little to do, he began write his memoirs to amuse himself.
