Now back to something librarian.
I was wandering through a thrift store today and came across a packet of
blank greeting cards. The picture on the front was a watercolor by Beatrix
Potter. Only a few days prior I'd found another package of Potter cards. People
seem to buy them, use one or two, and then toss them to the winds. The
reason for this is that folks don't write letters anymore--excepting me.
So now I've got what you could call a surfeit. For Potter fans, here's a
nice site with some rarities and some familiar stuff:

The watercolor of Benjamin Bunny (her own real-life pet Benjamin Bouncer) is
what appears on my new cards.
Enjoy this and then we'll get back to talking about money and buildings and
things that would bore old Peter Rabbit to tears.
