IM/chat along with, but not opposed to email.  We still get more questions 
via email than chat even though we offer them side by side on our contact 
page. We have a badge/widget so that you don't even need an IM/chat account 
to reach us. Chat tends to be casual questions that patrons half answer 
while asking them. Email tends to be genealogy or about programs.
