Along with Mark's suggestion of how to angle the shelf, you can use a rod on
the shelf to keep the books from sliding back. In our kids section, they put
in rods (like curtain rods or bathroom rods) to keep the kids from pushing
videos and other small books to the back of the shelf thus keeping everyone
from seeing what is on that shelf. Good luck with your project!
