What an incredibly shallow person she is/was?
I'd say that women do make passes at boys who know . . . Dewey, LC, MARC,
etc,
Many of my women friends are married to librarians.
It sounds like the woman in the article was looking for a meal ticket and
had serious financial paranoia.

I suppose I could classify this article under the heading "How they
see us," or place it in a book of essays supporting the idea that
girls don't make passes at boys who know Dewey classes.
It turns out well for the girl and her MLS boyfriend, though.
But only because he never accepted a job with a library.
