[Publib] Displaying Reserved Items

When I was a library director in Wisconsin, my concern was about the
state law which governs the privacy library users. A system like the one
Terry mentions would not meet the standards of Wisconsin state law (in
my opinion, I am not a lawyer and don't play one on TV). I understand
the convenience factor, but also value *my* privacy.
So, before making a final decision, check the state law (and maybe your
state library for advice).

We stopped wrapping them in paper, too much staff time and a huge waste
of paper. We now just have a slip that prints out with their name and
last 4 digits of the library card. Not a single person has complained.
