Apologies for any duplication - this was bounced back to me:
We just received a wonderful donation from a group that is going through our
local cemeteries, cleaning the stones, documenting the inscriptions and
tracing the genealogy of each person in the cemetery. It was presented in
two large loose leaf binders - organized by family name, and we are looking
for ways to make this an accessible item while protecting the original from
having its parts pilfered. We are ready to scan each page and store them on
a cd, the group is already more than happy at this, but we are looking for
the best way to make the cd easily searchable. This is our first time
trying this and are looking to do it inhouse if possible. One
recommendation has been flip book because of its automatic thumbnail and
clickable index, but I was wondering if any of you have used other products
that you could recommend.
Thanks as always
Alison Baker
